Wesley Britton’s Books, Interviews,
and Media Appearances ~
Wes Britton at the International
Spy Museum
Dr. Wesley Britton gives a talk at the International Spy Museum.
Opening in July of 2002, the International Spy Museum, located in
Washington, DC, is the only public museum in the United States
dedicated solely to espionage.
Its vast collection of espionage-related artifacts, some never
before seen by the public, were gathered together through the
cooperation of the CIA and the KGB, including weapons used by
both sides, such as the Russian-issued “lipstick” gun
meant to fire a single bullet at close range.
The intent of the museum is to present the global history of
espionage and the important role its men and women played in
world events, from Biblical spies and the Elizabethan age through
World Wars 1 and 2, to the present day.
In addition to its state-of-the-art exhibits, the International Spy
Museum presents lectures and film programs throughout the
year on the history and elements of spycraft.
As of this writing, Wes Britton has appeared twice as a guest
presenter.
